Teaching is one of the main reasons I decided to pursue a PhD. The classroom is where I have the most fun. I helped teach my first class as a junior at Wittenberg University. I loved it. I've taught classes and labs at Wittenberg, University of Denver, and University of Georgia. I received teaching awards at DU and UGA.
Most recently I taught Introduction to GIScience, a new course required for all Geography majors at UGA. I also have experience teaching physical geography labs at UGA and Environmental Systems labs at DU. I have not taught the past year. My current assistantship is with Archway Partnership, a unit in the University of Georgia's Public Service and Outreach, where I use GIS and data analysis to assist small communities throughout the state of Georgia on locally-identified projects.
Immediately below are links to pdfs of my teaching evaluations for the various classes I've taught. The Google Sheet includes the scores (average of 4.7/5 overall score) for each of the courses I've taught. The comments are also available in the Google sheet, organized by semester.
